DnD Tallinn - DRAW against WAR 19.03.2022

It's impossible to watch the current events in Ukraine without worries and a wish to help somehow.

Saturday the 19th of March we'll have our first ( and hopefully only ) DRAW against WAR !

'Art Therapy without Borders' is an Ukranian organisation which specialises in art therapy to help children cope with war traumas.

On the upcoming drawing event 'DrawAgainstWar' all models have decided to pose for free and all revenue will be donated to 'Art Therapy without Borders'. ( If you want to add anything extra, to this worthwhile cause, there will be a donation jar on location. )

My love and thoughts are with the people of Ukraine and all those in Russia who oppose this senseless war. I wish them strength and wisdom to survive this madness.

We are offering a lovely long life drawing session for artists of all levels to meet, draw, socialise, motivate and learn from each other!  Wether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, you’re very welcome to practice your skills and join the fun!

This time it'll be in the ARSi projektiruum, where we will be surrounded by beautiful works of  DnD regular Maria-Kristiina Ulas who has her exposition there. 

We'll be drawing for 7 hours with 8 different models on 2 stages. On one stage there will be a model doing long poses ( 15/30 minutes ) on the other stage the model will do short poses. ( 5/10 minutes ) No matter where you look, there will always be something new and beautiful to draw!

'Original' will provide us with some inspirational longdrinks. 

To keep you mentally and physically fit during the marathon, 'Blender' will take good care of us with their healthy sandwiches ( vegetarian / chicken )  refreshing, vitamin-rich smoothies and amazing coffee!

It'll be a long day, so bring all the art gear you need! But like usual, we have drawing boards and molberts available for you to use.  There are free sketching materials provided by 'Cretacolor'. Tons of ( sketch ) paper and on top of that  'Kunst & Hobi'  has come cool stuff to raffle to a few lucky winners!

According to government regulations we will require everyone to show certification of coronavirus vaccination, or of recovery from the coronavirus. 

However, if you feel ill, have just a tiny cough or have been in contact with someone sick lately, please be so kind to wear a mask !
